2023 Sakura season started out with a lot of rain. The blooms were just starting and it rained several days. I took a few rainy walks to enjoy what I could because I was not sure the blooms would be strong enough against the rain. To my excitement, the blooms were fine and the sakura trees in my neighborhood bloomed 3 weeks from the start of blooms to mostly green leaves grown in.

“Refreshed by the Rain” reminds us that through small unexpected events, comes a rejuvenation or renewal to our inner motivations and purpose. Small discomforts and inconveniences can be a pivoting point for change and fresh starts.
