One of my favorite parts of Sakura seasons is the petals falling. It is really hard to accurately portray in videos, photos, or paintings just how magical it is.

“Rest in Quiet Harmony” attempts to capture this magical event while also placing emphasis on the beauty of stillness, detail, and balance between dark and light, blooms and petals.

This piece reminds us that rest is sometimes a new beginning in itself. After a busy season of life, sometimes a recharge and restful season needs to commence for one to be at harmony with yourself.
