Inspired by a younger tree—among the many older trees—on our main road here at Yokota, I painted this piece with a relaxed approach to the many blooms I could see and enjoy at eye-level. The many large, older trees are pruned and quite tall around here, but it is nice to enjoy the beauty the younger trees have to offer.

“Together We Bloom” is meant to spark memories of time spent growing with others in some way whether through a sport, support group, work opportunity, neighborhood, school, friends, or family. Humans help each other grow and bloom through life.
